Terms & Conditions

Welcome to SyncReady. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SyncReady website, accounts, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. The Service

SyncReady provides tools and education for preparing music catalogs for sync licensing, including AI metadata tagging, catalog scoring, rights checklists, and tools to prepare and send agreements such as split sheets. Features, pricing, and availability may change over time.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Accounts are for a single person and may not be shared.
• Tell us promptly at security@syncready.ai if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

• Paid plans and founder passes are billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Prices and what each plan includes are shown at the point of sale.
• One-time founder passes are charged once and are not recurring. Recurring subscriptions, if you choose one, renew automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your billing settings.
• Cancellation stops future charges; it does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.
• Access to paid features depends on your plan and your account being in good standing.

5. Your content

You retain all ownership of the music, metadata, and other content you upload or create. You grant SyncReady a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit.

6. Agreements and e-signatures

SyncReady helps you prepare and send documents such as split sheets and rights confirmations. SyncReady is a tool, not a law firm, and nothing in the Service is legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of each agreement, for having the right to name the parties you add, and for deciding whether a document is suitable for your situation. Consider consulting a qualified professional for important agreements.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not upload content you do not have the rights to.
• Do not add people to agreements without a legitimate basis.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the Service.
• Do not use the Service for unlawful purposes.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend, disable, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk for other users, or are required to be actioned by law. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

9. Intellectual property

The SyncReady name, logo, and platform are owned by SyncReady and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our branding without permission.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (including Supabase, Vercel, Stripe, Resend, Spotify, Cyanite, and an e-signature provider). Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncReady is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
