Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how SyncReady collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you visit our site, join our waitlist, create an account, or use the Service.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and the password you set (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), plus optional profile details such as company name, job title, and avatar. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image from Google.
- Waitlist details: your name, email, role, and language preference when you sign up.
- Your content: the projects, tracks, and metadata (such as titles, artist names, ISRCs, UPCs, BPM, key, mood, and genre) you create or upload, and any files you attach.
- Agreement and collaborator details: when you create a split sheet or other agreement, you provide the names, email addresses, roles, and ownership percentages of the people you name. We use these only to prepare and send that agreement.
- Billing details: if you purchase a plan, our payment processor (Stripe) handles your card information directly. We never see or store full card numbers. We keep a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status.
- Usage data: basic analytics such as pages visited, referral source, and feature usage, used to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use your information
- To create and operate your account and provide the Service.
- To process payments, manage subscriptions, and send billing notices.
- To run the features you request, including AI tagging, catalog scoring, and preparing or sending agreements for signature.
- To send account, transactional, and product-update emails.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
3. Service providers we share data with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the providers who help us run the Service, each bound by their own terms and confidentiality obligations:
- Supabase and Vercel for authentication, database, storage, and hosting.
- Stripe for payments and subscription management.
- Resend for transactional and product emails.
- Spotify and Cyanite to look up and analyze track metadata you choose to enrich.
- Our e-signature provider, to deliver agreements you send to the people you name on them.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to secure your session, and—only with your consent—statistics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies, and change your choice at any time, through our consent banner. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we must retain records (for example, billing history) to comply with the law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, object to certain processing, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each message. To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below and we will respond as required by applicable law.
7. Deleting your account
You can request deletion of your account and associated content at any time by emailing us. Agreements already sent to third parties and records we are legally required to keep may be retained as described above.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including row-level access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date above, and where appropriate we will notify you.
12. Contact
To exercise your rights or ask a question, email privacy@syncready.ai or visit our contact page.
